HP A5120 Enable Web-Login

- Model ini adalah dari jenis H3C iaitu legacy daripada keluarga 3COM
- Model 3Com terdahulu, web-login telah terenable secara default.
- Untuk model ini kita perlu mengenablekan web-login melalui console.

Console Log-in Parameter 

 9600,8,None,1,None

Enable Telnet log-in

[Switch] telnet server enable

[Switch] user-interface vty 1

[Switch] authentication-mode none

[Switch] user privilege level 3

Configuring WEB log-in

[Switch] ip http enable

[Switch] local- user admin

[Switch] password simple password ---> (create your own password)

Windows 7 problemlah...leceh menyusahkan orang bodoh punya microsoft..dont fix it if it aint brokenlah macam-macam kutukan terhadap Micro$oft kesian ghehe

Buang masa betul hampir satu hari lepak JKR shah alam dok settlekan problem windows 7 nih..

Bendenya simple aje. Nak akses shared folder dalam server. Windows XP boleh akses tetapi tidak kpd windows 7.pelik gak.

Rupenya bukan masalah windows 7. tetapi ada duplicated name dlm network yg guna nama 'server'.

Static route

Next time ingat kalau nak buah static route between layer 3 switch ada banyak cara. Tapi kes kat APM memberi aku sedikit idea.

Analoginya ada dua buah kumpulan iaitu A dan B. Katakanlah dalam setiap kumpulan ada 3 orang pelajar berbilang kaum yg tak paham bahasa masing². Kemudian kita tambah seorang lagi dalam kumpulan tersebut interpreter yang boleh memahami ketiga² bahasa tersebut.
Masalah timbul apabila 2 kumpulan ini ingin bergabung. Kerana jurubahasa ini pon tidak mampu memahami bahasa dalam kumpulan yang satu lagi.
So apa yang perlu kita buat untuk bagi mereka paham each others?? Jawapannya

kita tambahlah 2 orang jurubahasa yang boleh cakap dengan interpreter tersebut. Sorang kita letak group A dan sorang lagi gruoup B
So dalam staic route kita just add satu lagi interface yang sama dalam kedua switch tersebut. then kita buat route keluar ikut interface tersebut..

BSOD Proliant DL380 G6 (WIndows server 2003 tak support multicore)

146 x 6 Hard drive (Raid 5)

Problem : Blue screen of death

Aku guna smartstart untuk configure RAID dan installwindows server 2003. Selepas saje server reboot dalam beberapa minit proses installasi windows berlaku mesej blue screen pon muncul.

At first I tot it was memory problem due to 32-bit windows server 2003 limitation. Then I remove 2 stick 2GB of RAM. Sama gak masalahnya.

Solution :

If the server gets the blue screen at this point (during installing the devices), the issue can be fixed performing the following workaround:

Reboot the machine and get into BIOS.

Go to System Options → Processor Options → Intel Hyper threading . Disable this option.

Go back to Processor Options and choose Core Disabling . Then choose One core .

Save the changes and reboot the server. Continue with the installation as normal.

This server works with multi-core processing and the Microsoft Windows versions that do not come with R2 do not support this feature. After we have the operating system installed, we need to apply the service pack (SP) to the machine in order to enable the previous features we had to disable to continue with the installation. The reason is that now the server has the SP2 installed and the operating system will be able to deal with multi-core processing. Keep in mind that if the behavior is different, that is, the server is not giving you blue screens or is not failing at the installation point mentioned, this workaround may not work. Also remember that this is a workaround process and that the system is supported only on R2

Tertib memasang Driver Dell

Senarai berikut adalah ringkasan dari susunan mengikut tertib kaedah yang betul untuk menginstall pemacu (driver)pada komputer dekstop dan notebook Dell. Setelah selesai memasang windows, sila ikuti urutan yang disenaraikan untuk menginstall driver.

1. Desktop System Software (DSS) and Notebook System Software (NSS) -utility yang digunakan untuk update critical windows pacthes.
2. Chipset- driver untuk motherboard
3. VGA - driver untuk display adapter.
4. Network interface card - driver LAN
5. Notebook Only : Dell Quickset or Dell Control Point Manager- driver untuk control power management, ambient light, wireless profile and security.
6. Audio - soundcard driver
   
7. Modem.
8. Wifi - wireless LAN driver
9. Touchpad, trackball, pointer, mice and keyboard
10. Device yang lain seperti- bluetooth, PCMCIA/Smartcard

JIMAT KOS!! aku kurang gemar dengan idea pembekal perisian menggalakkan kita memuat turun perisian daripada laman sesawang mereka. Disebalik dengan membeli media kit DVD kita akan dikenakan kos yang agak tidak munasarawak.

Alkisahnya Mutiara Taman Negara dah oder backup exec 2010. Lesen dah dapat, masalahnya media kit tidak dibekalkan sekali. So aku kena download files yang bersize 3GB. Kebarangkalian untuk mendapatkan hasil yang sempurna daripada perisian yang telah dimuat turun itu amatlah mendukacitakan. Dekat 10x gua download semua tak menjadi. Habis rugi DVD media aku dok burn ISO tapi hasilnya takde !!

Solution :
Terpaksa order media kit DVD yang bernilai RM115/unit daripada Ingram...

HP Procurve Switch..'hang'

Switch :
2 x HP Procurve 2510G-48 (stacking)
Switch no. 1 sambung ke core switch ground floor (fiber)

Lokasi : Excecutive Office PJ Hilt0n

Problem : Switch 'hang'

Symptoms :

Semua workstation yang bersambung kepada procurve switch gagal untuk ping ke main server. Bukan itu saje all the workstation failed to ping each other even in the same domain.

LED indicator pada switch menyala without blinking which means there is no activity.

Troubleshooting :
Aku test ping ke server dan workstation. Apabila aku restart salah satu switch ping barulah ada reply.

So kesimpulan disini apabila UTP yang digunakan sebagai stacking cable dicabut kesemua switch dapat berfungsi dengan baik. LED indicator menyala dengan berkelip.

Melihat semula kepada diagram terdapat dua cable UTP yg digunakan untuk stacking. So network looping telah berlaku. Broadcast storm berlaku antara dua switch menyebabkan switch menjadi hang.

Solution :

Ropenya by default procurve switch tak enablekan STP (spaning tree protocol). Enablekan STP semua berjalan lancar. Sekian
